Jeff Fazakerley (Seymour/Musical Director/Producer) received his B.A. Degree in Theatre Arts: Performance and Directing from Vanguard University of Southern California. He has performed in roles such as Tony in Westside Story (Grandstreet Theater) Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, J. Pierpont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Dickon in The Secret Garden, Casio in Othello, and Schroeder in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Other shows include Anything Goes, Into The Woods, Chekhov’s Three Sisters, Macbeth, Brigadoon, and Charlie’s Aunt. Jeff has directed all over Orange County for Terra Theater’s productions of The Importance of Being Earnest and Our Town as well as CYT’s (Christian Youth Theater) production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown in which he won the Director’s Choice Award for Best Show. Tyler Lenhart (Phillip) Is a native of the Inland Empire and is elated to be helping out the Alethia theatre group. Previous credits: "Jack" - Into the Woods, "Young Ebeneezer" - A Christmas Carol, "Lamar" - Godspell, "Mereb" - Aida, "Nicely-Nicely Johnson" - Guys and Dolls (NYT award). Tyler will also be performing as "Bun Foo" in Temecula's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie this summer.
Jenna Lloyd (Amber) is blessed to be a part of this production. She has her degree in Theatre from Vanguard University and has been involved in children's theater for 16 years as a student, a teacher and musical director. Her favorite roles include ensemble in Side by Side by Sondheim, Little Red in Into the Woods, America's Broadway, and the Secret Garden. Thank you for supporting Alethia Christian Theater!
Caitlin Macy-Beckwith (Kelsey) is a proud graduate of vanguard university with her B.A. in theatre arts. Favorite roles at VU include meg in "Brigadoon," the Baker's Wife in "Into the Woods," sister betsy in "As it is in Heaven," and the "Side by Side by Sondheim" Ensemble. On the OC stage, she recently appeared as Sister Margaretta in "The Sound of Music" (Huntington Beach Playhouse) and Joanie in "The Full Monty" (Maverick Theater), and is currently playing Curtis in "Taming of the Shrew" (Hunger Artists Theater Company). Ryan Miller (Taylor) is a senior theatre major at Vanguard University and is glad to be a part of supporting Alethia Christian School. Previous roles include George Antrobus in "The Skin of Our Teeth", Mr. Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice", Jesus in "Godspell", Beau Dejean in "Asleep on the Wind", Jimmy Smith in "Thoroughly Modern Millie", and Sir Andrew Auguecheek in "Twelfth Night". Tim Larson (Writer) graduated from Vanguard University receiving his B.A. in Theatre and a Minor in Film. Tim has studied with the Groundlings School of Improvisation in Los Angeles and well as Trollwood Performing Arts School in North Dakota. Tim also wrote the acclaimed one act play titled "Well Written" which is preformed in high schools & colleges around the country. He can be seen in the full-length, hit movie parody, "The 305".
Emily Fazakerley (Writer) has loved writing ever since she received accolades for her brilliant 1991 short story about a fly who eats a donut. She aspires to write the next great novel series for preteens and looks to the genius of Ann M. Martin’s Babysitter’s Club for inspiration. This is the first play she’s co-written -- or written at all, for that matter – and she’d like to thank her husband for letting her ride his coattails, Tim Larson for being funnier than her, and Jesus for obvious reasons like saving her soul.
Lee Pugsley (Musical Arrangement/Assistant Director) is thrilled to be a part of this production. Past directing credits include The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Almost Maine, College Ruled: A Musical Revue, Doubt, and Thoroughly Modern Mille (ass. dir.). He received his Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts in 2007 and has since performed at the Kennedy Center and worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and South Coast Repertory. He would like to thank the wonderful cast and crew for a job well done!
Deborah Marley (Director) Has been teaching and directing for seventeen years and has worked for some of the finest companies in the country, including The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C., Disneyland and South Coast Repertory. Her Shakespearean directing credits including, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Macbeth, As You Like It, Taming of the Shrew, All’s Well That Ends Well, Comedy of Errors, Romeo and Juliet and Cymbeline. She has also performed in numerous classical roles such, Electra in Electra, Hermia in Midsummer and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Besides a specialty in classical theatre, she is a dancer/choreographer with training in numerous styles of dance and a puppeteer.
